Lochside Park Memories Garden provides a peaceful place to sit, remember and renew. Trees have been gifted to mark a significant person or memory. They are mainly fruit and nut trees for healthy eating, to provide blossom in spring and fruit for all in the autumn, adding to the local biodiversity, encouraging pollinators, and helping reduce our carbon footprint.
The garden was organised and maintained by South West Community Woodlands Trust’ Project co-ordinator – Jools Cox Orchard and Wild Harvest project.
People can gift a tree for the garden in memory of a loved one and donation forms are available at Sunrise or online at www.swcwt.org.
