The Fullarton (formerly Lochside Theatre) is a professionally equipped Independent Cinema and Theatre in the heart of south-west Scotland, managed and staffed entirely by part-time volunteers.
The Fullarton Theatre is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), registered number SC006525. Its principal address is The Fullarton, Lochside Road, Castle Douglas, DG7 1EU.
Since opening in November 1996 we have hosted and presented a wide variety of Live Theatre and Music events, both professional and amateur.
In recent years our programme has been mainly Cinema and Live Event Screening.
The Auditorium
The 166 seat auditorium is a tiered format providing a clear view of the stage or screen from all seats apart from the back row (Row R). The view from this row is slightly restricted by those seated in the row in front.
There are four wheelchair spaces in the front row (Row A).
