This is a volunteer group that helps to raise money for the community events and organises Civic Week in July and other events during the year in conjunction with the Castle Douglas Development Forum. After Covid-19 and the subsequent lockdowns and social distancing rules which limited events, the Civic Events team is looking to reestablish in 2022 to start organising events for the year.
